21st Century Ireland in 21 Artworks began as a series of commissioned articles for RTÉ Culture, available to read here. Two years after the series finished, I curated a group exhibition of Irish art based on the original articles and including one extra work, which was shown at the Glebe Gallery in Donegal and as part of the 2019 Earagail Arts Festival, in association with the OPW, the Irish Museum of Modern Art, and RTÉ.
List of exhibiting artists: Aideen Barry, Michelle Browne, Joe Caslin, Amanda Coogan, Gary Coyle, Dorothy Cross, Colin Davidson, Willie Doherty, Dónal Geheran, Anthony Haughey, Sean Hillen, Joe Hogan, Paddy Jolley, Vera Klute, Alice Maher, Siobhan McGibbon, Vukašin Nedeljković, Mick O’Dea, Mairead O'hEocha, Geraldine O'Neill, Ann Quinn, Corban Walker.
